Oasis Psychiatric Day Program
Welcome to the Oasis Psychiatric Day Program (Oasis PDP), an integral part of the Oasis Behavioral Health Center conveniently located on route 1 with ample free parking in Norwood, Massachusetts.
Since our inception in 2012, Oasis Behavioral has been a beacon of hope and healing, offering comprehensive and compassionate psychiatric care to Norwood and its neighboring communities. Our commitment to superior quality treatment, underpinned by evidence-based practices, has established us as a trusted name in mental health services.
We take immense pride in our TJC accreditation of Oasis PDP, a testament to our relentless pursuit of excellence in delivering safe, effective, and high-value care.
At Oasis PDP, we recognize that mental health is a journey, not just a destination. That's why we have carefully designed our program to support adults aged 18 and over who are navigating the challenges of depression, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and other co-existing mental health conditions.
Our unique approach at Oasis PDP centers around a holistic treatment plan, combining state-of-the-art Psychopharmacology management with a wide array of group therapies and skill-building exercises.
We believe in the power of individual and family support, knowing that healing is a collective effort. Our Partial Hospital Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) are tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients, offering a structured yet flexible path to recovery.
Imagine a typical day at Oasis PDP: from 9 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, our clients engage in six hours of personalized treatment planning and group therapy.
Each individual's journey is unique, and we respect that; some may participate for an average of two weeks, while others may need more time, depending on their specific needs.
For those who can manage without a hospital stay, Oasis PDP serves as a vital link to recovery, allowing them to focus on their mental health while remaining connected to the comforts of home and family.
Our voluntary program emphasizes a commitment to a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for healing. We go beyond just treatment; our family meetings foster support and collaboration, our case management and discharge planning ensure continuity of care, and our collaboration with outpatient providers guarantees a comprehensive care approach.
However, it's important to note that Oasis PDP is not equipped to treat active psychotic symptoms or substance use disorders. The decision to join Oasis PDP is voluntary, reflecting our philosophy of empowering individuals in their journey to wellness.
