Q: What type of population does our program serve?

A: Our program serves adults 18 and above with a variety of mental health-based needs. At this time we are not accepting patients with primarily substance use disorders.

Q: Will lunch be provided?

A: In order to best meet our client’s individual dietary needs we encourage our clients to bring their own food. There is a fridge and microwave for clients to use in the building. We can provide clients with a list of local restaurants in the area.

Q: Is this program in-person or remote?

A: Our program offers an in-person experience for our clients with virtual offerings for specific circumstances.

Q: What type of insurance does Oasis take?

A: Currently Oasis PDP is accepting private insurances that cover out-of-network behavioral health treatment. We look forward to accepting other insurance products as we grow. Additionally, we accept self pay on a flexible sliding scale basis.

Q: How many people participate in the groups?

A: The typical group size is small, allowing clients to actively participate in groups.

Q: Where is Oasis PDP located?

A: Oasis PDP is conveniently located on route 1 at 1504 Providence Highway in Norwood. We are in the rear of the building while our colleagues at Oasis OBHI are located on the side of the building. There is free parking in the back of the building.

Q: What types of groups does your program offer?

A: Oasis PDP offers a wide range of groups that utilize several therapeutic modalities. These include but are not limited to expressive arts therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness groups.

Q: What are the hours of operation?

A: A typical day in the program begins at 9AM and ends at 3PM.

Q: Is Cellphone use permitted?

A: Cellphones are not permitted during groups, but clients are able to use their phones during breaks.

Q: Is there a social media policy?

A: Due to federal regulation, posting to social media is strictly prohibited while clients are at the program. We ask that clients wait until the program closes for the day before posting.

Q: What happens after I leave the program?

A: Clients are provided with aftercare planning when they leave the program.

Q: Will family be able to be involved in treatment?

A: Clients are encouraged to involve their families in treatment in whatever capacity they feel most comfortable with. If family involvement would be detrimental to the client’s care, we will always put our clients’ treatment needs first.

Q: What are your COVID-19 protocols?

A: Oasis PDP follows the CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19. We have ample space in our group rooms allowing clients to socially distance.

Q: What is your policy regarding food allergies?

A: If you have a food allergy, please inform staff before your admission date so we can adequately prepare in advance.

Q: How can I enroll in the program?

A: You can self-refer to our program or be referred by a medical provider.
