Our Services at Oasis Psychiatric Day Program

At the heart of the Oasis PDP is our commitment to providing a broad spectrum of services designed to cater to the unique needs of each individual. Our services address immediate mental health concerns while equipping clients with long-term wellness tools and strategies.

Here’s a closer look at what we offer:

Full Day Groups (6 hours)

Our Full Day Groups at Oasis PDP provide intensive care designed for individuals who require more support than traditional outpatient therapy. This option serves as an ideal step-down from inpatient psychiatric care or as an alternative to inpatient treatment for those who do not need 24-hour supervision.

Key Features of Our Full Day Groups:

Intensity of Care: Patients typically attend for six hours (9 am to 3 pm) a day, five days a week. This schedule is adaptable based on individual needs and program design.

Structured Treatment: We offer a well-organized framework that includes group therapy, individual therapy, and various therapeutic activities, all tailored to each participant's needs.

Medical Oversight: Our Full Day Groups include comprehensive medical and psychiatric assessments. Experienced mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, provide continuous support.

Medication Management: For those needing medication, we ensure thorough management, including monitoring and adjustments as necessary.

Supportive Environment: Our program fosters a nurturing, therapeutic setting where individuals can learn coping skills, receive condition-specific education, and engage in diverse therapeutic activities.

Group Therapy: A critical component, group therapy enables participants to share experiences and learn valuable skills such as communication, stress management, and effective coping strategies.

Holistic Approach: We address both the symptoms and underlying causes of mental health disorders for a comprehensive treatment experience.

Goal-Oriented Treatment: Our goal is to stabilize mental health, develop effective coping mechanisms, and prepare clients for lower levels of care, like outpatient therapy.

Family Involvement: Family sessions are available to educate about diagnoses, treatment plans, and strategies for supporting loved ones at home.

Case Management and Discharge Planning: Our case management team collaborates with outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care, offering clients ongoing support and resources after discharge.

Transition Planning: As clients meet their goals, we work with them to plan for continuing care, which may include outpatient therapy or other supportive measures.

Half Day Groups (3 hours)

Our Half Day Groups offer a structured, intensive treatment option for those needing more support than traditional outpatient therapy but less than full hospitalization. These sessions provide flexible, comprehensive treatment aligned with each individual's unique condition.

Key Features of Our Half Day Groups:

Intensity of Care: Patients typically attend for three hours (9 am to 12 pm) a day, five days a week, adaptable based on specific needs.

Structured Treatment: We provide a clear framework of group therapy, individual therapy, and therapeutic activities customized to meet each participant’s needs.

Medical Oversight: This program includes thorough medical and psychiatric assessments under the guidance of licensed psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.

Supportive Environment: Participants receive education, skill-building, and support in a safe, therapeutic setting.

Group Therapy: Participants share experiences, learn new coping strategies, and cover essential topics such as communication and stress management.

Holistic Approach: Our comprehensive approach addresses both immediate symptoms and underlying causes, empowering clients to stabilize their mental health and prepare for a transition to lower levels of care.

Family Involvement: Family sessions support diagnosis education, treatment planning, and effective strategies for family support.

Case Management and Discharge Planning: We coordinate with outpatient providers for a smooth transition post-treatment, supporting continuity of care.

Flexibility: The program adapts to meet changing needs, ensuring participants receive suitable support as they work toward their treatment goals.
